Access Info

You can find us at: Unit 1-2 Fullers Yard, Victoria Road, Margate, Kent. CT9 1NA

The yard's entrance is on the right hand side going up the hill and can be a little hidden so keep an eye out for directions from your sat nav if possible.

We may be in either or both units - you'll spot us easily thanks to our bright pink and yellow doors.

We Are Here is a wheelchair friendly space, it is fairly small inside however.

Rubber ramps lead up one step into both Units, Unit 1 with a doorway width of 119cm and Unit 2 with a door width of 70cm. There are no rails to grab onto sadly.

We have toilet facilities that are shared with members in the yard, it is wheelchair accessible and has a disabled loo. There aren't contrast handles, they are white. There are gendered toilets but we encourage you to use the one that makes you feel most comfortable and will of course not be questioned.

Fluorescent tube lighting is overhead in all spaces - we often have a yellowy-green neon light turned on in unit 2 but will happily turn that off if that makes you more comfortable.

We often have a speaker on low volume playing fairly chilled music but of course can turn this off if wished.

In Unit 1 we have stools for seating and in Unit 2 we have two plastic chairs with back but no armrests to sit on.

On hot days the internal space can warm up quickly and there isn't much shade outside, we have many fans to help ease the heat. It also can be rather cold in winter (the joys of a very old building) so recommend a few layers, big socks and we can pop you next to the heaters.

There is parking available in the yard but best let us know if it's needed to ensure we save a space for you.

As a disabled owned business will want to do everything possible to make your visit as comfortable and joyful as possible so if there is anything you need please drop us an email and we'd love to get back to you.

xoxo
